VideoCropStudio Support

VideoCropStudio is a macOS utility for opening a local video, setting a crop frame, trimming the clip, and exporting the finished result to disk or directly into Photos.

System requirements

• macOS 14.0 or later
• Local `.mov`, `.mp4`, or `.m4v` source files
• Photos access enabled if exporting directly into Photos

Supported export formats

• MP4 (H.264)
• MOV (HEVC)
• MOV (Highest Quality)

Troubleshooting

• If Photos export fails, verify that VideoCropStudio is allowed to add items to your Photos library.
• If an older export no longer opens from history, the underlying file may have been moved or deleted.
• If a source clip will not load, confirm the file is a valid local movie file and not stored in a location that macOS no longer allows the app to access.
