Summary
VideoCropStudio is designed for local desktop video editing. In the current macOS build, clips are processed on the user’s device. The app does not require an account, does not use third-party advertising SDKs, and does not collect analytics or tracking data.
Information we access
The app may access video files that a user explicitly opens or drops into the app, as well as files the user explicitly chooses when exporting. If the user selects the Photos destination, the app requests permission to add the finished export to the Photos library.
How data is used
- To open and preview local video chosen by the user.
- To crop, trim, and export the selected clip.
- To save a finished file to disk or add it to Photos when requested.
- To keep a local export history on device so the user can reopen prior exports.
Data collection and sharing
VideoCropStudio does not collect personal data from the app for advertising, analytics, or profiling in the current build. The app does not sell user data and does not share editing activity with data brokers or advertising networks.
On-device storage
The app stores preferences such as selected export format and destination, plus a local export history so previous source clips and outputs can be found again later. This information stays on the user’s device unless the user chooses to back up their Mac through Apple’s system services.
Third-party services
The current app build does not bundle third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or authentication SDKs.
Children’s privacy
VideoCropStudio is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated if app features or data practices change. Updated versions will be published on this page.
